Dublin City Archives is located in Dublin in Ireland. It contains records of the civic government of Dublin from 1171 to the late 20th century. Some of the records in Dublin City Archives include City Council and committee minutes, account books, correspondence, reports, court records, charity petitions, title deeds, maps, plans and drawings. The archives have a first floor which has a reading room which is open for visitors who need to go through manuscripts or ancient books. The Dublin City Archives acquires its collections from private individuals who are related to or have worked within the Municipal Council.
