The Irish Jewish Museum is based in Portobello, around the South Circular Road. The museum is home to a collection that includes photographs, Torah scrolls, paintings, certificates, books and artefacts that cover all aspects of the Jewish life. The Irish born former President of Israel Dr. Chaim Herzog opened the museum on the 20th June 1985 during his State visit to Ireland. It is an all Ireland Museum which features objects that relate to the last 150 years of the jewish life and several communities.

Sundays only, 10.30am to 2.30pm
Summer (May to September):
Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays ,Wednesdays,and Thursdays , 11.00am to 3.00pm.
Closed for Jewish Holidays and some Bank Holidays.
